Titre: LA Résilience :Émergence et Conceptualisation du Phénomène Auteur(s): Bouzeriba, Radja Résumé: Dans cet article, nous tentons de retracer l’émergence ainsi que l’évolution de la « Résilience »,concept récemment adopté par la psychologie et désignant la capacité de reprendre son développement en dépit de traumatismes psychiques. L’individu puise ainsi dans ses ressources personnelles et environnementales pour pouvoir dépasser l’adversité. La discussion des différentes approches théoriques tourne autour de la conceptualisation de ce phénomène et de la description des différents aspects intervenant dans son processus dynamique. N’étant donc pas statique, la résilience serait une résultante d’un équilibre issu de l’interaction entre les facteurs de risques et les facteurs de protection.

Titre: An Investigation of the Listening Strategies Used by Second-Year EFL Students at Biskra University Auteur(s): Chelli, Saliha Résumé: Many Algerian students find it difficult to understand the spoken language because listening is a highly complex process during which they have to construct meaning out of information provided by the speaker. Their difficulties include decoding words or sentences, poor knowledge of the structure of the language, lack of prior cultural knowledge, inferring abilities and the use of listening strategies. In fact, successful listening requires the integration of a range of strategies: cognitive strategies, meta-cognitive strategies and socio-affective strategies. This study aims to investigate the listening strategies used by second-year EFL students at Biskra University. For this purpose, a questionnaire was administered to seventy participants. In addition, to make the findings of this study more reliable, the thinkaloud method was used with eight participants. The results of the two research instruments revealed that most of the participants use few strategies and need help to acquire listening skills. Hence, it is suggested to teach them listening strategies to enable them to minimize listening obstacles and to maximize strategy orchestration

Titre: Natural versus Artificial Hormonal Cyclicityand Estrogen-Induced Hippocampal Cognitive Strategies in Coping with Stress and Pain Auteur(s): BELLOUM, Mohamed Résumé: The aim of this paper is to shed some light on the influence of natural hormonal cyclicity (as opposed to artificial or manipulated hormonal cyclicities) on cognitive coping strategies.The paper approaches three contemporary interdependent issues or fields of enquiry : contraception, emotional intelligence & hippocampal cognitive strategies. The conclusions and findings, arrived at, point to the fact that cognitive strategies in coping with stress and pain, in women, depend essentially on a lunar-menstrual phase-locking and a natural cyclic activation of estrogen receptors in the hippocampus.
