Résumé: Cet article est basé sur un travail de doctorat en cours de finalisation qui porte sur l’architecture domestique à Biskra. Il&#xD;
présente les résultats relatifs au premier pôle de la recherche lequel caractérise morphologiquement le cadre bâti résidentiel&#xD;
autoproduit (habitat populaire) et met en exergue les modalités de son évolution.&#xD;
La méthode utilisée pour étudier les mutations de l’espace bâti domestique est d’essence typologique. Néanmoins le modèle&#xD;
analytique élaborée présente l’intérêt de prendre en charge à la fois dimension temporelle diachronique et la dimension&#xD;
morphologique ramenée à trois variables génériques - i) l’insertion urbaine, ii) l’apparence extérieure, iii) l’organisation&#xD;
intérieure . L’esprit de la démarche consiste à étudier l’habitation populaire comme la somme de strates historiques successives&#xD;
dont les traits morphologiques pertinents sont caractérisés.&#xD;
L’article donne un aperçu sur l’approche méthodologique adoptée, des résultats préliminaires sont également présentés.</summary>

Résumé: Numerical study is useful as well as necessary in the assessment of the width limit of the heat affected zone (HAZ) as far as&#xD;
steel welding is concerned. Only limited published work has considered a mobile heat source to define the temperature&#xD;
variation in industrial low carbon steel (0, 19 wt. % C) when welding is in progress between the initial and final welding time&#xD;
[1-4].&#xD;
In this present work, an approximate method of deducting HAZ width value has been developed and shown to give reasonable&#xD;
results. The research aspects considered herein are as follows:&#xD;
 The effect of arc welding on microstructures, HAZ hardness and mechanical properties of industrial low carbon steel&#xD;
is studied.&#xD;
 The different zones near the (HAZ) are identified and their exact size and location are determined.&#xD;
An adequate agreement between calculated HAZ width value, steel phase change temperatures and HAZ hardness values has&#xD;
been obtained.</summary>

Résumé: In this paper we propose a hybrid method for evaluating the electromagnetic field radiated by lightning taking into&#xD;
account the effect of the conductivity of the soil. The proposed method is the combination of the images method and&#xD;
finite difference time-domain (FDTD) method. The magnetic field is obtained by the use of the images theory and&#xD;
the electric field is solved with using FDTD method. We calculate first, the electromagnetic field with supposing the&#xD;
ground as a perfect conductor and secondly we introduce the effect of the conductivity of the soil by the use of&#xD;
approximations formula.</summary>

Résumé: Various physiological traits linked to drought tolerance (osmotic adjustment, relative water content, and osmotic potential)&#xD;
were studied in ten durum wheat genotypes with a contrasted agricultural behaviour, and in accession of wild related species&#xD;
(Triticum.Durum cv Korifla/ Triticum dicoccoides 600808, Aegilops geniculata and Aegilotricum Amphipoide).&#xD;
The possibility of associating, in durum wheat, drought tolerance and high potential yield was discussed. Close relationships&#xD;
were observed between osmotic adjustment and water relative content and confirm the role of osmotic adjustment in tolerance&#xD;
to water deficit. Moreover, significant correlations were found between osmotic adjustment and field yield. Therefore, the&#xD;
results suggest the use of the osmotic adjustment and the relative water content as criteria of selection in the Mediterranean&#xD;
region. Also, the related species to durum wheat and wild species may represent, in the future, an interesting source throughout&#xD;
increasing biomass production and therefore the grain yield.</summary>
